Caylee's Princess Birthday

I can't believe that Caylee is already 2 (and 31 lbs!!--Cade is 32 lbs!!)! For her birthday she got new princess bedding and curtains for her room, since she is now moving into a big girl twin bed. It's soooo weird putting away the crib. It was really weird thinking about the first time we were setting it up for Christopher, and now he was using his new tools to take it apart. Ugghhh, where does time go?? I have been so emotional about every milestone that Caylee achieves b/c I know she is my last baby, so this was really hard for me! Caylee also got her own Fisher Price pink laptop. The boys got VReaders for Christmas and she is always playing with them, plus she is always wanting to get ahold of my laptop, so this seemed the perfect gift. In fact, tonight as I am blogging, she got her laptop and sat down next to me (just as I had hoped!). Of course she got lots of girlie presents like new clothes; a new bath barbie and dolls from Konnie (what a nice surprise to have Aunt Konnie here for sissy's birthday!!); a pink feather boa, ribbon baton, and a girlie phone from mom, dad, and grandpa; and a princess table and chairs from papa and grandma Weisenhorn. She loved everything! I made her cake and it turned out pretty awesome! The only problem I had was that the towers were really top heavy and started leaning and falling--so they had to have some support. All in all, it was a really fun night! Thanks everybody for the gifts and calls!!

Anxious for Spring & Summer

I found these old pictures from last year and it got me to thinking about spring and summer. It's always this time of year when I am excited for warmer weather and longer days. The other day Connor and I were watching something on TV and saw some mountains. He said, "I wish we were camping." Of course I replied that I wished that too (when do I not want to go camping!). Then he said, "I think we need to take a little break from school." Boy, is this kid mine or what--it's like he's reading my mind!

Fun in the Snow

We sure haven't seen much of the white stuff this year! So, when we got a little bit of snow, the kids were ready to have a little fun. We spent several minutes trying to get everybody dressed warmly. Wouldn't you know that Caylee took a few steps outside and decided she wasn't havin' any of it!

Play Dough Fun

Before Christmas, the three little kids really got into playing with play dough. They were so funny! They were rolling it up like hotdogs and putting it in the oven; but, then it started falling through the spaces on the racks, so the whole cup went in instead. You could say that this was the determining factor for Santa as far as Caylee goes.

Lost Camera Cord

Sorry for the lack of postings lately--we can't find our camera cord! As soon as I get access to a cord that works, or I make it to Walmart with a camera, I'll get back to posting. We had Caylee's birthday tonight (I had pep band last night), and I can't wait to post her pictures and the pictures of her cake. Plus, I need to catch up on some past events that I haven't posted about yet.
