In the past, we have always had Matthew over to make gingerbread houses. This year, however, Christopher felt too old to do such a childish thing, and schedules didn't match up. So, Kandace's kids and our three younger ones had a fun time building these sticky monstrosities instead. It was a lot of fun! We had lots of yummy food to eat beforehand. I made Oreo balls, chicken butts, deviled eggs, frozen strawberry punch, little smokey pigs in a blanket with homemade bread, rocky road, and cheese ball spread. I told Kandace not to bring anything, but she insisted on making tortilla wraps, which were delicious! We had grandpa out, and papa and nanny made it out later. It was a pretty fun night!
